Job Summary: Petroleum Service Corporation, an SGS Company is hiring a Pipeline Process Operator to our team in Moss Bluff, Texas. This Pipeline Operator is a regular full-time (not temporary) position with an opportunity that includes on on-the-job training. This position works in an industrial environment and is responsible for overseeing the same transfer of pressurized hydrogen pipeline and storage processes by monitoring, documenting and maintaining equipment and quality of product. Work Schedule: 12 hour rotating shift. (Days/Nights/Weekends/Holidays)















Job Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Maintains quality pipeline and storage processes by conducting inspections, monitoring multi-screen control console, and recommending process improvements.
  • Documents all procedures used during pipeline processes.
  • Monitors pipeline and storage by setting and programming controls, watching gauge levels, and operating computer console.
  • Ensures proper operation of equipment by completing preventive maintenance requirements, following manufacturer's instructions, troubleshooting malfunctions, and reporting malfunctioning units.
  • Maintains safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules and regulations relating to pipeline import/export and underground storage cavern.
  • Maintains continuity among work shifts by communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.
  • Completes any other duties that may be assigned in order to complete the job.

Job Qualifications:

  • Experience in a Process Operator role or Pipeline Operator role is a plus.
  • Process Technology Associate’s Degree or Certificate is a plus.
  • Must have great attention to detail skills.
  • Must be able to work independently at times.
  • 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
  • Stable work history with good references from past employers.
  • Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check.
  • Speak fluent English.
  • PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures a plus.

Physical Requirements:

  • Lift 50 pounds floor to waist
  • Push and pull 50 pounds horizontally
  • Carry 20 pounds while walking
  • Climb stairs and ladders
  • Extend arms through normal range of motion while standing and squatting
  • Must be able to wear all required PPE without restriction
  • Must be able to work in extreme heat or cold
