Job Title:  Loss Prevention System (LPS) Trainer

Primary Responsibilities:  Responsible for all training and/or re-training of site personnel of all facets of the Loss Prevention System (LPS). Reports directly to the Safety Manager and interacts daily with field personnel. Provides oversight assistance of the LPS system and the execution on site. Must hold safety as the overall governing force that allows operations to be successful.

Specific Responsibilities:
  • Obtaining a certification to train others on the use of LPS (Loss Prevention System)
  • Training/re-training of site personnel on the LPS System
  • Documenting training and maintaining records of training completion
  • Updating and assisting with development of JLA’s (Job Loss Analysis)
  • Performing field checks to asses LPS execution at all levels
  • Reporting the field checks weekly to the Safety Manager
  • Maintaining LPO (Loss Prevention Observation) data entry into IMPACT
  • Facilitation of action items identified during LPO’s, and assignment of such to appropriate personnel
  • Identifying and reporting of leading indicators based on LPO data collection
  • Assisting with monthly LPO scheduling
  • Facilitation of stewardship at the operations leadership level
  • Must have a mindset of accountability.
  • Must be personable and have the ability to communicate effectively with others.
  • Must be highly proficient in excel, work, and data collection computing systems such as IMPACT.
  • Must be highly organized.
  • Must understand and be able to execute data collection and be able to formulate a report from such data.
  • Must be timely and self-motivated.
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Must have the ability to speak, write, read, hear and have good vision.  Must be able to work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold. Must be able to wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of said PPE. The physical requirements for a warehouse technician include the following: Lift 60 pounds floor to waist, push and pull 30 pounds horizontally, carry 20 pounds while walking, climb stairs, stand 8-12 hours per day, climb ladders, extend arms through normal range of motion while standing and squatting.
Minimum Job Requirements: 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.; stable work history with good references from past employers; pass a drug screen, physical, and background check; and speak fluent English.
