Job Title: Utility Operator
Business Unit: SGS Petroleum Service Corporation (PSC)
Department: Operations
Exempt or Non-Exempt: Non-exempt
Hourly or Salary: Hourly
Primary Responsibilities: Provides operational support in operation of steam boiler and hot oil boiler. Maintains the storm water system meeting all EPA state regulations and handles all aspects of waste disposal.
Reporting to: PSC Terminal Manager
Specific Responsibilities:
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps poles and the like. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, talk, hear and have a good vision. Ability to work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold.

Specific Responsibilities:
- Performs storm water sampling, discharge and paper work functions associated with EPA state regulations.
- Maintains boiler system in good working condition by adding boiler treatment chemicals and performing blow down services and scheduling regular checks with boiler service contractor.
- Collects waste from storm water system, operational and maintenance functions, labels and schedules pick up by approved solid waste vendor.
- Work outside and in all weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, rain, and snow
- Complete any other duties that may be assigned in order to complete the job.
