Yard Mule Driver (Chemical Plant)
Job Summary: SGS Petroleum Service Corporation, the leader in the petrochemical material handling industry, is growing and looking for individuals to join our team at a brand new, state-of-the-art chemical plant / packaging facility in the Baytown, Texas area. These Yard Mule Drivers are regular full-time (not temporary) positions with opportunities for cross-training, career growth, and advancement. The mule does not leave the facility so no CDL required. Pay: $15 - $17/hour depending on experience.
Work Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts with every other weekend off (includes days, nights, weekend, and occasional holidays, with built-in overtime).

Job Description: Responsible for the safe and efficient transportation of finished, palletized product from the warehouse to storage yard within the same facility. Specific responsibilities include:
- Inbound trucking of Automatic Trailers
- Collects and returns container chassis
- Internal Shuttle Operation for Sea Bulk Loading and Packed Loading, inclusive weighing in and out
- Installs container chassis supports where required
- Monitors and reports operational activities
- Completes daily inspections and documentation/check sheets on equipment and trailers Performs Reach Stacker operations on off-hours
- Communicates with facility supervisor on any problems as they occur
- Completes any other duties that may be assigned in order to complete the job
Minimum Job Requirements: Driver's license required; 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.; stable work history with good references from past employers; pass a drug screen, physical, and background check; and speak fluent English.
