Job Title:  Maintenance Manager / Form Fill & Seal Technical Expert

Primary Responsibilities:  The Maintenance Manager / Form Fill & Seal Technical Expert will predominantly perform facility and equipment quality verification.
 
Reporting to:  Operations/Project Manager USA
 
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Accompany and support equipment acceptance test specifically for packaging equipment
  • Support HSE (health, safety, security) team to create a safety system
  • Support commissioning during pre-start-up phase and start-up phase
    • 11 Silos , gravity transfer  piping system &  5 X 25 kg bag FFS Packaging lines
    • 4 bulk loading stations with eight truck parking spots
    • Packaging building with packaging lines and material storage area
    • Packaging control room inside the packaging building
    • Main Contractor building/ office/spare parts storage
    • Shipping and dispatch building (with Security Office)
    • Storage yard for finished  product with 10 loading islands
    • Weighbridges - one inbound and the other  bi-directional
    • Roadways, parking, drainage including pellet interceptor pits
    • Container Storage Yard
    • Truck Staging Yards (inbound and outbound)
    • Pallet Storage Area
    • Electrical/ Instruments/ communications network
  • Familiarize with packaging equipment and become technical expert
  • Define quality criteria for the equipment
  • Define spare parts concept for all technical equipment (packaging equipment, automatic trailer, forklifts, reach stacker, etc.)
  • Create maintenance plan for packaging equipment and other rolling equipment on site (not trucks and trailers)
  • Be first point of contact for equipment vendor
  • Act as account manager for equipment vendor
  • Support training from equipment vendor to TALKE-SGS personnel
  • Create training program and coordinate/provide training to TALKE-SGS personnel
  • Support operational expert in defining SOP’s (from technical operability perspective)
  • After commissioning TALKE-SGS will resume responsibility of the onsite operation
  • During phase II (cold packaging) TE to support ramp up and commissioning of packaging equipment
  • Support packaging line performing tests in Phase III (product coming from the reactor)
  • Responsible for technical functionality of E2E operation (bagging, bulk loading, shuttling, storage, product shipment)
  • Support IT team to implement IT solution to run the onsite operation and drayage
  • Being first point of contact for all technical matters on site for the client
  • Being first point of contact for SGS-PSC (operational partner) during project implementation
  • Being first point of contact for all suppliers (majority US based supply)
  • Support recruiting process for maintenance team
  • Define quality report structure for the onsite equipment 
Skills/Qualifications:
  • Extensive experience within the (petro-)chemical logistics industry (plus 5 years)
  • Plus 5 years technical and operational experience with in-plant logistics
  • Technical equipment background
  • Successful delivery of at least one start-up
  • Good stakeholder and change management skills
  • Must be fluent in English
  • Strong communication, moderation and negotiation skills
  • Experience in communicating with senior management
  • Able to work in complex environments with multiple stakeholders
  • Ability to obtain technical knowledge and transfer through trainings
  • Distinctive analytical and conceptual skills
  • Ability to work under pressure
  • Flexible and able to work independently
  • Ability to work in a team
  • Willingness to travel
