HRIS Leader / Supervisor

Primary Responsibilities: The HRIS Leader plays an integral role on the HR team and is a key internal partner in the day-to-day operation of the human resource information systems. This role will ensure a high level of confidentiality and integrity and provide excellent internal customer service to all within the organization. The HRIS Leader provides data analytics with the overall goal to improve strategic performance.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Project / Process Management: Reporting, developing, analyzing, and distributing ad hoc reports and summaries for all HR-related initiatives and federal requirements (e.g. Affirmative Action, EEO-1 and VETS 100A Filing, Sustainability, Turnover, Employee Headcount, Time to Fill, etc.).
  • HRIS: Administrator of all HR systems including applicant tracking system (ATS), document management system (DMS), HR & payroll system (HRIS / ADP), I-9 management system (e-verify). Conduct training of HRIS for new users, manage day-to-day operational systems, and continued strategic planning to improve the systems.
  • Data Analysis: Collect and analyze employee turnover, recruiting, and survey data to identify how to improve/maintain employee retention. Collect and analyze labor market demographics to help identify potential customers and labor force.
  • Document Control: Regularly review existing processes to refine and update them in the various systems. Design process flows that improve efficiency across the company. Executes the initiation, processing, routing, distribution and archiving of all documentation in a compliant manner.
  • Training: Development and maintenance of HR processes and provides end-user training for all HRIS.
  • Leading/Supervision: Continually monitor performance of team members by identifying areas of opportunity; offering feedback, training and coaching as needed: and ensuring that excellent performance is acknowledged.
  • Knowledge of HR Laws: Maintain a thorough understanding of employment regulations, industry trends, current practices, new developments, applicable laws, and employment legislation pertaining to all personnel matters, and various federal requirements.
  • Additional Tasks/Projects:  Contributes to our team’s success by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

Minimum Job Requirements:

  • Must have at least two years of related experience.
  • Must have experience in MS Excel to create pivot tables, vlookup & countifs formulas, etc.
Desired Education:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Information Systems, Computer Science, Information Technology, or other related degree is preferred.
  • HR certification is a plus.
Additional Skills/Qualifications:
  • Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, Visio, Powerpoint).
  • Demonstrated ability to work independently to resolve complex problems.
  • Must have strong analytical, problem solving and troubleshooting abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with demonstrated ability to serve as an effective team member on collaborative projects.
  • Superior organizational skills with ability to prioritize and maintain a strong focus to details.
  • Ability to maintain the strictest level of confidentiality and highest standards of professionalism.
