Job Summary: Petroleum Service Corporation is seeking a Forklift Warehouse Operator to join our team at a leading petrochemical plant that manufactures high-tech polymers in Hebron, OH. Pay: $15.00 - $19.00/Hour

Work Schedule: 10-12 hr. Straight Days, Straight Nights, OR Rotating Shifts (Includes Days and Nights)

Job Duties & Responsibilities:

• Receives plastic pellet filled shipping boxes from the conveyor belt in the warehouse
• Completes a detailed quality control check of all shipping boxes that come from the conveyor belt for any damages and label information accuracy
• Safely operates a forklift to store all shipping boxes on pallets within the warehouse in the appropriate staging area
• Conducts daily and routine inspections on the forklift per the checklist provided
• Checks inventory with a hand held scanner and verifies that it matches in the system and monitors for any changes
• Receives outbound shipment pick list via the computer based screen on the forklift
• Moves the pallets of the boxes from staged location in the warehouse to the loading islands for shipment
• Completes inspection of containers and trailers prior to loading outbound shipments
• Safely loads pallets into the containers and trailers with the forklift
• Performs pallet recovery and repair broken stacks
• Communicates with team members in the warehouse via radio to report operational activities
• Ensures a safe and clean work environment by participating in all housekeeping activities
• Completes any other duties as assigned in order to perform the job

Job Qualifications:

• 1 or more years' experience in a chemical plant, industrial, warehouse or manufacturing work environment is a plus, but not required
• 1 or more years' experience operating a forklift or pallet jack to move and store material is a plus, but not required
• 1 or more years' experience working in an environment related to a distribution center, back room storage facility or loading dock area where materials are unloaded/loaded is a plus, but not required
• Must be able to follow OSHA safety standards and be safety conscious at all times
• Must possess a valid driver’s license
• 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.
• Stable work history with good references from past employers
• Pass a drug screen, physical, and background check
• Speak fluent English
• PSC is a veteran-friendly company. Previous military experience and proven ability to follow procedures is a plus.

Physical Requirements:
You must be able to:

• Speak, write, read, hear, and have good vision
• Work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold
• Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) without restriction and pass any medical examination associated with the use of PPE
• Lift 60 pounds floor to waist
• Push and pull 30 pounds horizontally
• Carry 20 pounds while walking
• Climb stairs and ladders
• Stand 8-12 hours per day
• Extend arms through normal range of motion while standing and squatting
