Job Title: Flex Truck Driver / In-Plant Truck Driver
Business Unit: SGS Petroleum Service Corporation
Department: Operations
Type of Position: Non-exempt
Primary Responsibilities: Safely weighs and spots trailers throughout the plant.
Reporting to: SGS Site Supervisor
Specific Responsibilities:
- Weighs and spots trailers at different loading racks throughout the plant.
- Inspects empty trailers.
- Completes daily inspections on equipment and trailers and completes check sheets.
- Assists loading technicians as needed.
- Ensures that truck/railcar is positioned and secured at proper loading rack.
- Wears all protective clothing and equipment, including respirator equipment that may be required in a manner that ensures maximum personal safety.
- Communicates with facility supervisor on any problems as they occur.
- Completes any other duties that may be assigned in order to complete the job.
Skills/Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 50lbs. of force occasionally, to move objects. Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps and the like. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, talk, hear and have a good vision. Ability to work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold. High school diploma or equivalency. TWIC card.
