Primary Responsibilities: Serves visitors and employees by answering and directing phone calls, greeting, welcoming, and notifying staff of visitor's arrival; providing information; maintaining databases.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Welcomes visitors by greeting them, in person or on the telephone; answering or referring inquiries.
  • Assists visitors to correct locations by providing directions.
  • Helps employees by referring inquiries to appropriate person; providing information and resources; maintaining bulletin boards.
  • Maintains welcoming environment by keeping reception area clean; providing refreshments; maintaining library of information and reading; maintaining security.
  • Performs general clerical duties to include, but not limited to: copying, faxing, scanning, mailing, and filing.
  • Signs for and distributes office deliveries/packages.
  • Makes copies and packets for employees meetings (supervisor meetings, safety meetings, new employee orientation, etc.).
  • Forwards information by opening, sorting, and distributing mail.
  • Maintains visitor and employee confidence by keeping information confidential.
  • Assists with administrative duties to include Word documents, PowerPoint presentations, Excel spreadsheets, etc.
  • Updates job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities.
  • Contributes to the team’s efforts by accomplishing related tasks as needed.

  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)

Minimum Job Requirements: 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.; stable work history with good references from past employers; pass a drug screen, physical, and background check; and speak fluent English.
