Primary Responsibilities: Reporting directly to the President, the Senior Executive Assistant provides executive support in a one-on-one working relationship. The position serves as the primary point of contact for internal and external contacts on all matters pertaining to the activities of the President. The Senior Executive Assistant also serves as a liaison to senior management and other teams and oversees special projects.

Specific Responsibilities:

  • Provides a broad variety of critical administrative support to the President, including the creation of presentations, spreadsheets, financial data and other documents; managing calendars and schedules, arranging travel plans and itineraries, and handling expense reports.
  • Interacts and communicates at all levels of the organization, working independently and with teams on special and ongoing projects, coordinating presentations and proposals, disseminating information and organizing events.
  • Prioritizes conflicting needs; handles matters expeditiously and proactively, and follows through on projects to successful completion, often with deadline pressures.
  • Interacts and communicates with management, customers, office staff, family members and personal contacts in a professional and confidential manner.
  • Leads and coordinates office/building needs.
  • Maintains confidential information related to customers and the business.
  • Participates in continuous improvements for the administrative role and the organization.
  • Contributes to a team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Skills/Qualifications:

  • High degree of flexibility, excellent interpersonal skills, and ability to work well with all levels of internal management and staff, outside customers and affiliates.
  • Continual attention to detail in establishing priorities and meeting deadlines. Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to juggle multiple competing tasks and demands.
  • Keen sense of discretion and judgment, professional demeanor and ability to maintain confidentiality.
  • Demonstrated poise, tact and diplomacy, and outstanding work ethic and moral standards.
  • Excellent communication skills with extreme attention to detail to include composing, typing and proofing.
  • Ability to be self-sufficient, work independently and with teams, make educated decisions and follow through on projects to successful completion.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint) and social media platforms. Experience with Oracle helpful.
  • Ability to lift up to 20 lbs. of force occasionally to move objects.

Minimum Job Requirements: Bachelor’s degree required. Minimum 8 years professional work experience, with at least 4 years in managerial/executive-level support position preferred. 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.; stable work history with good references from past employers; pass a drug screen, physical, and background check; and speak fluent English.
