Job Title:  IN-PLANT TEAM LEADER
 
Business Unit:  SGS Petroleum Service Corporation (PSC)

Exempt or Non-Exempt:  Non-Exempt
 
Hourly or Salary:  Hourly
 
Primary Responsibilities:  Acts as a working leader that supervises and performs the general responsibilities inside of the Finishing Unit
 
Reporting to:  Operations Coordinator, Plant Supervisor, or Plant Superintendent, SGS PSC 
 
Specific Responsibilities: 
    -  Performs and ensures that work is performed in compliance to Quality & Safety Assurance Programs
    -  Performs and ensures that work is performed in compliance to all specifications and procedures
    -  Conducts incoming inspection of service equipment, parts, and material
    -  Inventory management
    -  Identifies and records any and all instances of non-conformance.
    -  Works with the Quality Assurance Coordinator to take corrective action to prevent recurrence of any instances of non-conformance
    -  Responsible to be knowledgeable of the SGS PSC Quality Assurance Manual and all related publications and procedures
    -  Maintains a copy of all related publications and procedures
    -  Maintains quality records
    -  Determines which cars / van trailers are to be spotted, loaded, and/or shipped
    -  Assists customers with routine inquiries to assure accurate and prompt results
    -  Coordinate and lead safety meetings
    -  Any other duties that may be assigned in order to complete the assigned task

    -  Ability to manage small crews
    -  Ability to work independently and unsupervised
    -  Ability to delegate job tasks
    -  Advanced troubleshooting skills
    -  Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills
    -  Basic computer skills (Microsoft Word & Excel)

Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps poles and the like. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, talk, hear and have a good vision. Ability to work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold.
