Job Title:  Raw Materials Handler

Primary Responsibilities:  Responsible for the transport and depositing of various raw materials into bins and hoppers for the production of Synthetics base stocks.
 
Reporting to:  Plant Supervisor or Plant Superintendent, SGS PSC
 
Specific Responsibilities:

• Organize warehouse materials, ensure materials are properly stored
• Inventory Management, both electronic and manual date entry of inventory
• Movement of raw materials by flatbed truck, forklift, pallet jack, freight elevator, and pallet lift.
• Must be able to perform light mechanical work (hand tools, power tools, replace filter elements, etc.)

 
Skills/Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps poles and the like. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, talk, hear and have a good vision. Ability to work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold. High school diploma or equivalency. Valid drivers license is required.
