Primary Responsibilities: Acts as a working leader that supervises and performs the general responsibilities inside of the facility
 
Department/Job Function: Operations – 59H
 
Reporting to: Operations Coordinator, Plant Supervisor, or Plant Superintendent
 
Exempt or Non-Exempt:  Non-Exempt
 
Hourly or Salary:  Hourly
Specific Responsibilities:
  • Performs and ensures that work is performed in compliance to all specifications and procedures
  • Conducts incoming inspection of service equipment, parts, and material
  • Inventory management
  • Identifies and records any and all instances of non-conformance
  • Maintains a copy of all related publications and procedures
  • Maintains quality records
  • Determines which railcars are to be spotted, loaded, and/or shipped
  •  Assists customers with routine inquiries to assure accurate and prompt results
  • Coordinate and lead safety meetings
  • Any other duties that may be assigned in order to complete the assigned task
 
Skills/Qualifications: Ability to lift up to 100 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 lbs. of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps poles and the like. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, talk, hear and have a good vision. Ability to work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold.

  • Exceptional interpersonal and leadership skills

Minimum Job Requirements: 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.; stable work history with good references from past employers; pass a drug screen, physical, and background check; and speak fluent English.
