Primary Responsibilities: Technical writer for the operational training department and administration of contractor qualification process
Specific Responsibilities: This role will require extensive technical writing to build and improve upon operational training material.  This will include procedure re-writes, re-organization of documents into specific formats, improving flow of material to enhance learning, and administering key tasks in a document management system.  Additionally, responsibilities will include s/he will also adminster the Pre-Qualification Form (PQF) process, requiring coordination with multiple internal departments (Safety, Contracts Management, Operations, etc.) to compile and maintain accurate company statistics and information.  The employee responsible for maintaining this data will proactively monitor various customer and third-party qualification websites, determine the appropriate response for each PQF based on the customer relationship, and ensure that PSC profiles are kept up-to-date and compliant with customer requirements.  S/he will also interface with customers and third-party administrators, responding to requests for information and resolving potential issues.

Skills/Qualifications:
  • Strong technical writing skills. 
  • Progressively responsible administrative experience in a fast-paced environment.  Highly detail oriented. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency in MS Powerpoint, MS Word, MS Excel, and database systems. 
  • Ability to manage workload effectively including plan, coordinate, organize, prioritize, and handle multiple tasks. 
  • Ability to communicate through written and verbal correspondence. 
  • Ability to use good judgment to make decisions. 
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality. 
  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively in a diverse workforce.
Minimum Job Requirements: 18 years or older and legally able to work in the U.S.; stable work history with good references from past employers; pass a drug screen, physical, and background check; and speak fluent English.
