Job Title: Administrative Assistant / Payroll

Hourly or Salary: Hourly
Primary Responsibilities: Provides office services by implementing administrative systems, reporting, entering payroll for 40+ employees and monitoring administrative projects.
Reporting to: Site Supervisor, SGS PSC

Primary Responsibilities: Provides office services by implementing administrative systems, reporting, entering payroll for 40+ employees and monitoring administrative projects.
Reporting to: Site Supervisor, SGS PSC
Specific Responsibilities:
- Maintains payroll information by collecting, calculating, and entering data
- Prepares reports by compiling summaries of earnings, overtime, turnover, etc.
- Provides information by answering questions and requests
- Maintains payroll operations by following policies and procedures; reporting needed changes
- Maintains employee confidence and protects payroll operations by keeping information confidential
- Maintains all vacation, overtime, payroll evaluation, and attendance schedules.
- Maintains Industrial Safety Council Training (ISTC) records
- Submits monthly and quarterly data to Customer and SGS PSC corporate office
- Orders unit supplies and personal protective equipment
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results and all duties as assigned
- Two years of experience in a payroll/administrative function
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Outlook, Word and PowerPoint)
- Strong attention to detail and thoroughness
- Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines on a consistent basis
- Maintain high level of confidentiality and professionalism
