Primary Responsibilities:  In charge of maintaining/cleaning boat, equipment & securing barges to the tugboat.
 
Reporting to:  Captain, 166 Fleet – Helen G
 
Specific Responsibilities:

• Carries all safety equipment from vehicle to facility assuring that all equipment necessary to complete the daily job tasks will be close at hand.
   
• Meets with the vessel person-in-charge to determine daily expectations in order to accomplish tasks of maintaining the boat and coordinating the logistics of the fleet in a safe and uninterrupted manner.
   
• Performs work duties in a manner that ensures maximum personal safety through wearing protective clothing, respirator when needed and equipment that may be required to perform your daily duties as described by the person in charge of the vessel.

Skills/Qualifications:
Ability to lift up to 100lbs. of force occasionally, and/or up to 50lbs.of force frequently, and/or up to 20 lbs. of force constantly to move objects. Ability to climb ladders, stairs, scaffolding, ramps poles and the like. Ability to stoop, kneel, crouch, reach, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, grasp, talk, hear and have a good vision. Ability to work outside in environmental conditions which at times include extreme heat or extreme cold. High school diploma or equivalency.
